1. Essential Early-Game Layout Strategy

When starting a new city, layout is key to preventing traffic bottlenecks and happiness drops later on:

  • R-C-I Balance: Keep Residential (R), Commercial (C), and Industrial (I) zones adjacent to each other in small blocks. Avoid putting Industrial directly next to Residential to keep pollution levels low.
  • Road Grid Systems: Build in 4x4 or 6x6 grids. This maximizes interior space while ensuring every building has immediate access to a road.
  • Power & Water Distribution: Place Power Plants and Water Towers away from residential centers. Utilize power lines and water pipes efficiently to cover all zones without wasteful overlapping.

Unlike traditional city builders, Pocket City 2 lets you walk around as a custom avatar in a full 3D world:

  • Complete Quests: Talk to citizens (NPCs) with exclamation marks over their heads. Quests reward cash, XP, and unique town upgrades.
