1. Getting Started – First 10 Minutes

  1. Launch the game and confirm your age.
  2. Create your main character:
    • Choose skin tone, hair color, hairstyle, and name.
    • These can be changed anytime later via the person + pencil icon.
  3. Customize your partner the same way and give them a name.
  4. Choose and name your first pet (dog or cat).
  5. You will be transported into your tiny starter home with a few unpacking crates.
Tutorial Tip: Tap the crates to unpack the first furniture pieces (usually a plant, pouf, and drawers). Place them where the game highlights. Completing these gives you your first hearts toward leveling up.

2. Understanding Currencies

There are two main currencies:

  • Coins – Primary currency used for most furniture and clothing.
  • Dogllars (sometimes spelled Dogglars) – Premium currency used for expanding rooms/floors, premium items, resetting shops, and special sets.

How to Earn Coins Quickly

  • Clean the streets – Tap the small trash/dirt spots outside your house.
  • Complete the 3 daily tasks on the clipboard icon (bottom left).
  • Open the daily gift box outside your house.
  • Sell unwanted furniture to Kevin when his moving van appears.

How to Earn Dogllars

  • Daily login rewards (check the weather icon).
  • Completing all 3 daily tasks (bonus reward often includes Dogllars).
  • Season Pass progression and mailbox gifts.
  • Special events and Pocket Surprise rewards.

3. Daily Tasks & Leveling Up

Tap the clipboard icon on the lower left. You will always see 3 tasks. Complete them every day.

Most actions (placing furniture, going on dates, completing tasks, opening boxes) give hearts. Hearts fill the meter next to your level number (top left).

When the meter fills you level up and unlock new furniture packs. Check the heart icon to preview upcoming unlocks.

Pro Progression Tip: Always complete the daily tasks before they expire. After finishing all three you can usually reset them once for extra rewards.

4. Decorating Your Home – The Amazing Store

Tap the shopping cart button labeled “Amazing” (bottom right).

  • Furniture tab – Main catalog of chairs, tables, beds, decor, etc.
  • Clothing tab – Outfits, hairstyles, accessories for both characters.
  • Wallpaper & Flooring tab – Change room style completely.
  • Pocket Surprise – Limited-time themed sets (usually cost Dogllars).

Items in the store rotate on a timer. You can reset the shop early by watching an ad or spending a few Dogllars.

To edit a room: Enter the room → tap the furniture/chair icon (bottom right) → drag, rotate, or store items.

5. Expanding Your House (Rooms & Floors)

This is the core long-term goal.

  1. Look for the red house-shaped construction sign outside your home (or talk to Jane/Jess the builder who stands near it).
  2. Buy new rooms one by one. Early costs are low (around 10–30 Dogllars for the first few rooms).
  3. Once a floor has all 4 rooms, you can unlock the next floor.
  4. Maximum is currently 8 floors × 4 rooms = 32 rooms.
Important: The expansion sign only appears after the first 24 hours of play and disappears once you reach the maximum size.

6. Pets

  • You start with one pet.
  • You can adopt more dogs and cats later.
  • Buy pet-specific furniture (beds, toys, food bowls) from the Amazing Store.
  • Pets interact with the environment and appear in photos and dates.

Current seasonal event (as of early September 2026): Pet Festival Season Pass (September 8–23) with exclusive pet-themed items.

7. Going on Dates

  1. When a glowing heart appears above your partner, tap them.
  2. Choose to get ready and go out.
  3. Dates take place in different locations (park, restaurant, K-Pop concert, etc.).
  4. Follow the dialogue and interactions.
  5. Successful dates unlock photo album memories and sometimes special furniture or clothing.

Dates are one of the best ways to earn hearts and progress the relationship story.

8. Mini-Games (Arcade Attractions)

Zoom all the way out on the main map and look upward for a pink machine. Current mini-games include:

  • Pancake Making – Timing-based flipping game.
  • Balance the Amazing Boxes – Delivery balancing challenge.

Play these regularly for extra coins, Dogllars, and hearts.

9. Photo Mode & Memories

  • Tap the menu (three lines / square icon) → camera button to enter photo mode.
  • Pose your characters, pet, and furniture.
  • Photos are saved to your in-game album and can be shared.
  • Special memories unlock automatically as you progress and go on dates.

10. Long-Term Progression Checklist

  1. Log in daily for login rewards and mailbox gifts.
  2. Clear the 3 daily tasks every day.
  3. Buy and place new furniture to earn hearts.
  4. Expand rooms → complete floors → unlock new floors.
  5. Go on dates whenever the heart appears.
  6. Check the Amazing Store and Pocket Surprise regularly.
  7. Participate in seasonal events and Season Passes.
  8. Keep customizing outfits and room themes for fun.
